Moms are warriors built from love
Today is National Lazy Mom Day. Moms are the warriors who often trudge through the mires of disrespect, judgment, and hostile expectations. Because of that, so often they go unnoticed for their accomplishments and legendary feats. Despite this, for so many, they are the gentle, supportive, and honest ally so many need, despite the pain flung at them.
While National Lazy Mom Day sounds slightly mocking, it is intended to be the exact opposite. It is designed so moms can put their armor down, rest, and simply be, and chase the joyous journey of calm moments.
So for all the moms out there, I urge you to enjoy your moment; I urge those supporters of moms to make their day easier and to carry their burden for more than a day.
